The Densho Project

Name: Bokuden Matsugo-ryu Naginata Densho

The following densho is in fact a collection of 3 different densho on the topic of Naginatajutsu, mounted together. The original three densho were separated and in poor condition: They were missing the Jikugi and the Hyoshi and the paper was already worn out. I decided to mount them together in one scroll. The originals were issued in the year Horeki 3 (1753) and include the Omote Mokuroku, Shichijo and Menkyo scrolls. Each densho includes a variety of drawings, showing the Naginata waza of the school. So far the longest document I was able to reproduce.
